I've been eating here for years.Great place to brunch and eat. It's convenient to me in the area it's in I love it

I've lived downtown for almost 3 years, and today was my first time in. I'm an idiot. Should have been coming here since I moved. Not sure why the delay, perhaps the location? There is always a line of cars out front, which is why I finally tried Renee's. Well, my wife wanted to go to, so give her the credit. This place is awesome! We both had gyros. Ordered one as a combo which included a drink and onion rings. They threw in an order of fries and a bottled water free of charge. The gyros were perfect, the fries and onion rings were fried to perfection. The dining area is small, but everyone was friendly. Obviously, the owner's attitude is contagious. I left a hefty tip in the tip jar as it was very much deserved. This place is now on our heavy rotation list. We will definitely go back - soon! Finally, I'm not the only person who likes this place. Zach Randolph also had lunch at Renee's today, and it looked like he's a regular. So there's that, too.

Foods was delicious, workers were so nice for it to be 6:30 AM and the restaurant has a very warm feeling. They don't sell pork which makes me love them even more. Would definitely recommend this place to eat.

This place has taken the level of sandwich making to whole other tier. Chicken Philly and I turkey was delicious.

Was looking for a place near south main with reasonable prices, good portion size, and tasty food. This place met the bill. Philly cheese chicken was solid. Fries were seasoned. Food wasn't overly greasy (greasy enough for a cheesesteak). The wait wasn't bad for me. I went in around noon on a weekday and was about 15 minutes. 100% is one of my go-to quick meal places.

Call in your order!!!! I walked in and I waited for almost an hour for my food. They were slammed at 10:30 am. Came here looking for a decent Philly cheesesteak in the downtown area that wasn't from Lenny's. I forgot to order the fries that everyone raves about, so I'll have to come back and get those. But man, this cheesesteak?! It's EXACTLY what I've been missing!!! Well balanced, juicy, meaty, cheesy, all stuffed in soft bread Philly cheesesteak. It is so delicious and filling. All the other cheesesteaks I've tried were stingy on the meat or the cheese, or they were way too salty / too much seasoning in general. But the cheesesteak from Renee's is perfect. Would 100% recommend.

Renee's really deserves so much acclaim. The location is unassuming but I am so happy I tried this place out. I started out with the Philly cheesesteak and fell so madly in love that I never needed to try anything else. The price is perfect for the portion size (enough for 1 hearty meal). The customer service is also top-notch and they are always so friendly and helpful. Definitely give Renee's a try!

A great find. In from Cincinnati and my wife and I walked to the Gaston library. On the way back I saw the sign and pointed it out to my wife, Renee. So happy that we stopped in, great food and very reasonable. Will be back to get the bologna sandwich!!! Excellent!

Whenever I come home, I ALWAYS make a beeline for this place. Great southern breakfast home cooking for the ladies in the kitchen.
